ArtSpire is an arts management and consulting company based in Chennai, India & Toronto, Canada, specialising in the development and management of artistic initiatives.
We are a team of professionals with deep understanding of, and passion for, the arts. We work with arts organisations, venues and artists, supporting them to develop, implement and sustain their artistic initiatives. We understand the challenges facing the arts sector and provide practical and customised advisory and consultation, based on our collective experience in the field.

Founder & Director
A performing arts connoisseur, Ramya derives great inspiration from the artistic creations of others. She founded ArtSpire to support arts and culture organisations and artistes, with professional expertise in marketing and management.
In a career spanning over 18 years in strategic communications and arts, she has worked with Indian and global clients and partners, in the non-profit, corporate, startup, and the arts and culture sectors. Her expertise includes arts management, brand communication, social media marketing and public relations.
Prior to founding ArtSpire, Ramya was the Project Director at Inception Business Services, a marketing consulting firm in Chennai, where she was responsible for driving the marketing communication strategies for brands across various sectors. Prior to that she led the Resource Mobilisation initiatives at NalandaWay Foundation, an arts-based NGO. She is currently in the Board of Trustees of NalandaWay Foundation.
Earlier in her career, Ramya was a Consulting Associate at Genesis Burson-Marsteller, an International PR firm, where she managed and executed PR campaigns for several technology MNCs.
She has a Masters degree in Communications from Portland State University, Oregon, USA.
Ramya loves travelling, is a passionate foodie and a yoga enthusiast.
Senior Programme Manager
Aishwarya’s motivation lies in working with visionaries, innovative and experimental thought leaders. In a career spanning over 10+ years in the corporate communications sector, Aishwarya has built herself as a strategic communications leader who drives change through communication and engagement. She has worked in multinational companies including Scope International (Chennai) and Shell Inc (Chennai), leading internal communications campaigns and corporate events.
Aishwarya is a Senior Programme Manager at ArtSpire and is based in Toronto, Canada. Aishwarya leads a diverse portfolio of clients developing organisational and marketing strategies for arts institutions; branding strategies along with goal and opportunity management plans for artists; as well as planning and managing festivals, workshops and performing arts productions. She spearheads our initiatives in the North American region.
A digital marketing specialist, she also develops marketing strategies and social media campaigns for ArtSpire’s clients with audience development and revenue generation at the heart of the strategy.
A professionally trained Bharatnatyam dancer, Aishwarya loves everything arts and culture. High-spirited and dynamic, she draws immense energy from creative pursuits including storytelling, writing and indulging in visual creativity.
Aishwarya has a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media and an MBA in Marketing.
Senior Programme Associate
A post-graduate in Marketing & Strategy from the University of Warwick, and a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer, Snehaa has been part of ArtSpire from day-1. She has been part of several key client projects involving marketing and publicity, strategic planning and festival management.
Snehaa’s inherent ability to look at the “big-picture” along with her meticulous planning and innovative thinking, have been greatly beneficial in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and strategic plans for ArtSpire’s clients.
Having learnt Bharatanatyam for over 20 years, in Muscat, Oman and currently training under the guidance of established artistes Renjith & Vijna in Chennai, gives her a deeper understanding of artists’ creative processes and sensibilities.
Snehaa’s interest lies in Arts Marketing and Arts Research and she is immensely passionate about promoting and bringing awareness to the Indian Classical Arts, around the world.
Senior Programme Associate
With undying love for food, travel, music and her newfound affinity to Carnatic and fusion music, Vaishnavi has found her place in the world of Arts Management after a short stint in the IT jungle. An engineer by qualification, she has enjoyed being part of many professional groups in Chennai like Net User Group (CNUG) and Bhumi in various capacities. She lead the CNUG for a year in 2015 apart from handling PR and other technical aspects of the group in previous years. Her love for interacting with different people pushed her to volunteer in event management roles in college. Her role as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Weavedin, Bangalore helped her gain experience in Client Management.
Senior Programme Associate
Aishwarya Iyer, a passionate dancer holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Christ University, Bangalore also holds a Bachelors degree in Fine arts (Dance) from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. She is also an active solo performer under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Pandanalur S Pandian and a passionate teacher in spreading the art form. Having worked for Ernst and Young & PricewaterhouseCoopers for 2 and half years her inspiration towards arts lead her to start her journey in Artspire.interests.
Passionate about a good story, dance, food, and travel, Sankriti has just stepped into the world of Arts Management after having worked for a tech startup. An engineer by qualification, Sankriti learns Bharatanatyam and is a disciple of Padma Shri awardee, Smt Chitra Visweswaran at her institution, Chidambaram Academy. Also a dance tutor at the same institution, Sankriti continues to learn and perform, whenever she can. Her curiosity in the field of management coupled with her love for the arts brought her to ArtSpire, where she continues to explore and feed both her interests. Also interested in writing, she has written book and movie reviews for The Hindu’s youth supplement, NxG as well as travel pieces for online travel portals. Music, movies, and books form her other interests.
